(WXYZ) — A low level surge of moist and warm air later today will help setup a high chance of rain and thunderstorms across southern Michigan late tonight into early Wednesday morning.
Some storms may produce damaging wind gusts as they arrive, followed by large hail up to 1".
Protect any property that could get blown away or wet before going to bed tonight.
Timing: Storms moving west-to-east arrive between 2am - 6am Wednesday. Rain should clear out by 10am.
Impacts: Damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph. Large hail up to 1". Brief heavy downpours. Lightning.
