Cold air is going to dive south from Canada this weekend, and we may reach 40 degrees on Saturday.  We haven't been that cold since April 17.

Will we see any snow?

Our best chance of any precipitation this weekend is Friday. That's when the most moisture will be in the air.

However, we should climb into the 40s Friday afternoon, which would mean primarily rain. As colder air moves overhead across Michigan, we may see a changeover to rain/snow mix by Friday evening.

This forecast will be all about the timing of the cold air. For now, we may only getting a dusting or so, but we will keep you updated throughout the week.

The average first measurable snow (0.1" or greater) is November 17.
