Rain is still in the forecast for Halloween. However, the rain may move out before you need to worry about rain-proofing your son or daughter's costume.

RAIN FORECAST

A slow-moving low-pressure system will drag across Michigan Tuesday night into Wednesday. We may see some showers as early as Tuesday afternoon. Then heavier rain is likely Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. As the front slides farther away from us to the east, we should begin to dry out around noon Wednesday.

It's important to watch the forecast for any changes. If the front slows down before arriving in Michigan, it may keep the rain lingering into Wednesday afternoon.

TEMPERATURE FORECAST

We'll be in the mid-50s Wednesday afternoon. We could drop into the 40s by 8pm.

SUNSET / MOONRISE

The sun will set at 6:26 p.m. Wednesday.
The moon will set at 2:51 p.m. Wednesday, and rise again after midnight at 12:57 a.m.
