(WXYZ) — A wintry mix of rain and freezing rain will arrive after 10 p.m., but will change to all rain around 4 a.m. when temps rise above freezing.
Any icy spots on areas roads will quickly melt early Saturday.
After a bitterly cold month, this last weekend of February may feel a little spring-like.
Clouds will decrease Saturday for a mild afternoon with temperatures climbing into the mid to upper 40s. This will set the stage for more melting snow, so make that snowman while you still can!
Sunday will be one of the mildest of the month. The last day of February will begin with lows near freezing, but jump about 10 degrees above-average to near 50 degrees.
A few rain showers will be possible during the morning, but the afternoon looks great to get outdoors!
