WESTLAND, Mich. (WXYZ) — Westland restaurant Mr. Mike’s Grill has a gluten-free menu that people can take advantage of during the coronavirus pandemic.
“We have the largest gluten-free menu in the area,” said owner Angie Khalaf.

Mr. Mike’s Grill is open for carryout and curbside pickup. They can also be found on DoorDash for those who want delivery.
It was Angie’s mother, Hiyam Bajalieh, who started the gluten-free menu.
“She has Celiac disease. It was very important for her to develop something, which she has a hard time finding which is a full line gluten-free menu, one that is prepared gluten-free," said Angie. "We have a separate fryer, separate toaster, separate prep-area."
They have everything from gluten-free sandwiches, french fries and pierogis.
The family has also partnered with the Masonic Lodges in Garden City to help provide food to the Garden City Police and Fire Department.
They were operating on reduced hours, but they are back to their regular business hours. They are open daily 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
