SYLVAN LAKE, Mich. (WXYZ) — It has been 19 years since The Grill in Sylvan Lake opened up shop. However, they like so many others are in jeopardy during the coronavirus pandemic.

“I love people, and I love food,” said owner Vickie Kherkher.

It’s this love for her costumers that is keeping her going, even offering to help out some of her regular costumers.

“In fact I’ve got a lot of my older clientele that I’ve said if you get sick I will take care of you, I will bring you food, I will bring you supplies just let me know, I mean that is the kind of place this is,” said Kherkher.

This Grill has a wide variety of food options for people to order out from.

“We are known for our potato crusted walleye, we have fabulous ribs, lasagna, breakfast items, unique breakfast items like a breakfast nacho,” said Kherkher.

Right now, people can order out and pick up, and have the food brought to your car. Another option is having the food delivered.

“You order, you pay for it then, we bring it to your house, we ring your doorbell and walk away,” Kherkher.

The Grill has changed the hours of operation to 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. during this time. Kherkher will go back to normal hours once the ban on indoor dining is lifted.

To order, call them at 248-334-3900.
