(WXYZ) — From summer festivals to the parking lot just outside of your job, food trucks seem like they're everywhere –and with good reason!

They give chefs a way to open up a place of their own, and they're mobile, allowing the trucks to follow the food crowd. If you're looking for the best grub on wheels, our 7 Action News viewers chose their favorite food trucks in our Thursday's Top 7.

7. FORTUNE COOKING (DETROIT)
At number 7, Fortune Cooking puts Asian fusion cuisine on wheels. The Sesame Chicken Rice Bowl and Asian Taco are standouts!

6. BRASS KITCHEN (LINCOLN PARK)
Brass Kitchen comes in 6th. They specialize in gourmet sandwiches and sided. They also feature house-cured and house-smoked meats.

5. THE LOBSTER FOOD TRUCK (DETROIT)
The Lobster Food Truck claws its way to number 5! Look for lobster rolls, lobster mac & cheese, fried lobster bites and more. The lobster is shipped straight from Maine to metro Detroit.

4. MATT AND MO'S ITALIAN BEEF (FERNDALE)
At number 4 is Matt and Mo's Italian Beef. It's a taste of Chicago. In addition to the Italian Beef sandwiches, check out the Chicago style hot dogs, too!

3. IMPASTO (DETROIT)
Impasto is all about the dough. They use naturally fermented wild yeast to create their flatbread wraps and say it's a flavor you can't find anywhere else.

2. DRUNKEN ROOSTER (DETROIT)
Our runner up is the Drunken Rooster. Chef Hassan Masselmani calls it Mediterranean tacos with a twist. Like it spicy? Ask for the sumac hot sauce!

1. TRUCKSHUKA (DETROIT)
And the top spot goes to Truckshuka. They serve Israeli street food influenced by Michigan flavors. Highlights include shakshuka. It's a tomato-based dish with fire roasted bell peppers, garlic middle eastern spices and poached eggs.

No matter which truck you choose, it comes down to one question. I asked Blair in Downtown Detroit how's the food?

She was quick and clear in her answer, "Amazing. You can't go wrong with the food trucks!"

Another standout was Nosh Pit Detroit. They've been recognized as one of the best vegan food trucks in the country.

If you have a favorite food truck, you can also book them for family gatherings, weddings or corporate events. If you're just trying to track down a truck for a bite to eat, look for their calendar on social media.
